10th International Tang Soo Do Federation World Championship Tournament

The World Championship Tournament for our Federation was held July 31st - August 2nd in Orlando, FL. We had 20 students competing in numerous events. It was VERY exciting. Aim and Focus Karate brought home numerous medals and many more experiences / new friendships. It was a great event.

I was also very proud to watch Michael Carlile, Samantha Carlile and Emilio Sandoval test for E Dan (2nd Degree Black Belt). The Black Belt test was conducted on Sunday after the Championship Tournament.

This event takes place every other year. Color belt students can compete in Forms, Weapons Forms (Red Belts only), Breaking and Sparring. Black Belts can complete in these same events plus Team Forms and Team Sparring.

New Black Belts at Aim and Focus Karate

We have received official notification from the ITF Headquarters that the following students passed their Black Belt Test (Cho Dan). These students received their new rank at the beginning of the GUP test scheduled on July 19th. This is a huge accomplishment. I'm very proud of these students. They are a very unique group that reached this place in their training from many different backgrounds. Each one will be a fine Black Belt in the International Tang Soo Do Federation.
